Stereo in Words

Led by frontman Ben Saltzman (lead vocals, guitar, keyboard) and accompanied by Ian Conery (lead guitar, backup vocals), Ted Mitchell (drums), and Nate Stockley (bass, backup vocals), Stereo in Words is an original rock band whose music is heavily influenced by a shared love of the alternative indie rock of their youth. Together, they made their debut at the Rock the Cape Art and Music Festival in Hatteras North Carolina, on June 2, 2021, and have been rocking the free world ever since with original songs including Never Been Down, which Ben self-describes as "if Chris Isaak had a lot of piercings", and Over and Under, which is about wonderful moments in time and being on the edge of the world and time while surfing. According to a recent article written about them, "no matter the subject or tone, each Stereo in Words effort shares similar qualities -- rippling guitar riffs and melodic structures, dynamic movements and tight changes, heartfelt lyrics illustrated with dimensional imagery. And a distinct vision of how each note, beat and movement should sound."
