The Steel Pennies

The Steel Pennies are an Americana, Bluegrass & Folk Rock band based in Southeast Virginia. The band formed in 2021 with Tracy Stover (vocals, guitar, mandolin, banjo), Greg Sowell (bass) and Julie Lee (vocals, fiddle). When Julie relocated for work in 2022, Liz Jones Needham (vocals, banjo, mandolin, harmonica) stepped in to form the current performing trio.
