From shows with Culture to Augustus Pablo, they have been a part of reggae around the world since the 70's! They are amongst the most respected reggae drummer and bass duos today! They are also like uncles helping guide iRon Lion through the music business. "It's a continuation blessing from my Stable Roots Productions affiliation. I've met alot of associates of my producer/keyboardist and childhood friend Chris Whitley aka Stable Roots Productions. Chris Whitley aka "Peanut" is a well-known face and name in reggae circles internationally, after having toured with Culture in the late 90's." -iRon states. "We performed as boys together in our gospel church youth choir. He's a little older so he played that big brother role in my life, I didn't have one! His family embraced my family, in 1983, when we moved to his small town in Virginia, after leaving Chicago, which is where I was born." He adds! These days to add to the TKLB lineup, veterans Mike Keys (Jamaica/Md), add even more knowledge to the stage, plus sweet keyboards! "He's one of the best reggae keyboardists in the DMV in my humble opinion!" says iRon Lion. The band uses various guitar players who have been on stages backing The Wailer's Band, Burning Spear and other reggae greats also! ___________________________ This band is best to book for festivals, college events, community events, private parties, birthdays, etc. SOLO, DUO, TRIO, QUARTET OR FULL BAND(5-7-12PC) BAND SHOWS ARE AVAILABLE!
